No Sew Jack-O-Lantern Halloween Pillow
Halloween is coming! Have you started decorating yet? Are the kids making Halloween Crafts yet? Today we are sharing a Spooktacular Halloween Project using a few Hygloss Products. A No Sew Jack O’Lantern Pillow.
This is the perfect project for the whole family to do. Fast and easy pillow, best part you don’t need to sew. Try replacing the jack o’lantern with a bat, cat or witches hat. So many possibilities. Let’s scroll down and get started.
Materials used for pillows:
Hygloss Felt: Black, Orange, Green
Orange Pom Pom Fringe
Bag of Batting
Hot Glue Gun, Hot Glue Sticks, Scissors
STEP ONE:
Cut two square shapes from black felt. Cut a pumpkin shape from orange felt and a stem from green felt.
STEP TWO:
Sandwich pom pom fringe between two pieces of black felt. Fold a ½ inch seam along the felt edges, hot glue together. Leave a 3 inch opening to stuff the batting through.
STEP THREE:
Stuff the pillow with batting, hot glue the 3 inch opening closed.
STEP FOUR:
Hot glue the felt pumpkin to the center of the pillow. Add Stem, and buttons, hot glue in place!
These pillows are inexpensive and super easy to make. If you don’t have hot glue available, you can use a good craft glue or felt/fabric glue for this. Use clothespins to hold the layers together while the glue is drying. Always make sure adults are handling the hot glue.
