Spring Action scissors make it easier for young children or physically challenged children to cut. The plastic spring in the handle can be raised or lowered to allow the scissor to operate like regular scissors, or to spring the scissor open after a cutting motion. Cutting is an action that requires skill and dexterity. For young children and for children who have physical challenges, regular scissors may be too difficult to use. These Spring-Action scissors will make it easier and more comfortable for those individuals to cut. How do they work? They look and operate like regular scissors. A simple plastic spring in the handle can be raised, causing the scissors to spring open after each cutting motion. The spring can\ also be lowered to allow it to operate like regular scissors.
